One of the major growth areas of this money tree is with the utilization of cash back credit cards. Closing out September comes with a surprise. I continue to earn the benefits of managing two cash back credit cards.
Cash back credit cards are a great but only for those with a high level of self control and discipline. The first surprise was with a $150 sign on bonus with my Chase card.
The recent surprise comes with my Discover card, earning 10 referral fees of $50 each that was credited to my account for a total of $500 this month, amazing!
I use two cards is because I am selective on which card I use for which type of spending activity and the Discover card makes it easy to manage as they have 5% cash back promotion calendar.
The Chase card as my default unless the spending falls into the Discover 5% promotion type…looking forward to the October-December Discover promotion with Target/Amazon/Walmart…that is easy pickings for me.
