The register rings again as I just sold my last set of concert tickets as a broker/re-seller. If you are a regular reader of my blog, you will remember I posted a 51.3% APR on my first set of tickets sold.
During this round, this is the second set of tickets to the same concert but it took a little bit longer and not as high of a net price. This set of tickets was resold through Ticketmaster and although the pricing was set for the same, I captured a net amount of $214.24 and they sold in just about 151 days. That results in a 12.3% return on the transaction and an APR of 29.7%.
Now that I have two transactions under my belt, I am a fan of this side hustle but I do think discipline is needed to ensure you don’t over reach on too many tickets and expect these returns…research and being selective is key
Any ideas on what concerts/events have worked well for you? Please share via comments, thanks in advance
