In my first 6 months of trying to making some money as a side hustle on PPC (Paid per Click) sites, it is easy to get lost and not even achieve the payout thresholds on most of these opportunities. There must be as many PPC sites out there as personal finance blogs, so how do you know which ones are worth the trouble?
I have tested many of these sites and have now I have setup a daily routine and rotation that is earning me around $20 per month. Knowing I am not going to get rich with this side hustle, it is a good option as a side hustle. Also to note, I do not think taking online surveys is worth the time, that is why my monthly income is lower than others out there…my daily routine takes me less than 10 minutes every morning while I drink my coffee.
I also want to share an image of how I think about these sites and the personal preference I place on them based on ease of use, liquidity, and payout thresholds.
You will see in the below image that I have a high preference for the MyPoints and Swagbucks sites out there. Those 2 sites do hit on many buckets of what I am looking for and find myself going to those sites first. I do utilize all of these sites and still awaiting my first payout on Inbox.
At the end of it all, you have to take an assessment of how much time and what activities you prefer to do online to capture the most time / $ benefit from many options out there. If you are aware of any other good options that don’t rely heavily on surveys, please let me know.
I am a finance professional with over 20 years of experience and very passionate about all topics related to finance; enjoying the aspect of teaching and educating others along the way. All in all, I will show you how big this money tree can get over time as I get the branches (Earn, Save, Invest) as high as possible…Click here to see my financial progress to date: How high is the Money Tree?
