After 6 months of being a CoinOut user, I have to say that I can’t recommend this app anymore. At the end of May, I became aware of the CoinOut App and decided to add it to my daily routine. Realizing how long it takes to get to payout and still awaiting my first payout is the reason the “juice isn’t worth the squeeze”
What is CoinOut?
Coinout rewards you real cash for your receipts from virtually any retailer with each purchase. After you upload a photo of the receipt, you earn a random cash reward. Once you achieve $10.00 balance, you can cash out with PayPal.
My experience with CoinOut
At the end of May, I came across this app and stacked it with the other receipts programs like Fetch. It provided me an opportunity to earn 2x on each transaction. My random rewards were in the $0.01 – $0.15 range per upload. It has taken me about 6 months to get to the $10.00 threshold. A small positive milestone for me, I quickly requested a Paypal cash out at the beginning of December. I am still awaiting the payment as it sits in “Pending” status on the app. With the amount of time it takes to get to the payout, coupled with the cashing out frustration…I can’t recommend this app to my readers. I will stop using this app going forward.
